As an example of our most successful group tours we would like to present our 14 days "The Secrets of Thailand" tour.

Day 01:

Bangkok  
After arrival at Don Muang International Airport in Bangkok, transfer to our centrally located Narai Hotel at Silom Road, on walking distance from shopping centres, the Lumpini park, the river and the Patpong Nightmarket. In the afternoon we make a tour by a longtail-express boat on the Chao Phraya River and through the klongs (small canals) of Thonburi. We make a stop at the fascinating Temple of the Dawn. During the tour you will get a good impression of daily life on and around the river. In the evening a welcome-dinner will be served.
 

Day 02:

Bangkok  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. Visit to China Town with a walk through the Chinese food market. Afterwards we visit the Grand Palace and the Wat Phra Keo Temple with the famous Emerald Buddha. From here we make a short walk to the colourful flower and vegetable market. After the lunch at a local restaurant the afternoon is free at leisure. Overnight at the Narai hotel.
 

Day 03:

Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Phitsanulok  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. Today we will leave "busy" Bangkok and visit the ruins of Ayutthaya, the capital of Thailand from 1350 until 1767. We continue to the monkey-city of Lopburi. After the lunch at a local restaurant we continue our tour to Phitsanuloke, a typical upcountry village famous because of the living-boats on the Nan river. Overnight at the Amarin Lagoon Hotel with its beautiful garden.  
 

Day 04:

Phitsanulok - Sukothai - Chiang Rai  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. We will visit the World Heritage Sukothai Historical Park with its many old ruins. It is possible to make a cycle tour through this park. Sukothai was the capital of Thailand from 1238 until 1350. After the lunch in a local restaurant we leave for Phayao to visit the scenic lake and the Wat Phra Si Khom Kham with its 16m high sitting Buddha statue. From here we continue to Chiang Rai at an altitude of 580m. where we will stay for 2 nights. Overnight at the centrally located Wiang Inn Hotel.  
 

Day 05:

Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. We start our day with a visit to the Doi Tung Mountain and the colourful and fragant flower garden of the Royal Palace. In Mae Sai, the northernmost city of Thailand, we visit the local market and the boarder bridge with Myanmar (Burma). After our lunch in a local restaurant we will visit the Golden Triangle and see the mighty, 4500 km long, Mekhong river connecting Myanmar, Laos and Thailand. Overnight at the Wiang Inn Hotel.
 

Day 06:

Chiang Rai - Thaton - Chiang Mai  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. We leave Chiang Rai to visit the villages of the Akha and Yao hilltribes. Most of these hilltribes still live in a very primitive way and keep their old traditions. In Thaton we will visit the Wat Thaton from where you have a nice view over the river and its valley. In the afternoon we visit the caves of Chiang Dao and continue to Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North, where we will stay for four nights at the centrally and on walking distance from the famous Nightbazar located Pornping Tower Hotel. In the evening a romantic dinner will be served in one of the riverside restaurants.  
 

Day 07:

Chiang Mai  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. We start this day with a visit to one of the most famous temples in Thailand, the on 1050 m. located mountain temple Wat Phra That Doi Suthep from where you have a fantastic view over the city and its surroundings. After the lunch in a local restaurant we will visit the handicrafts-centers of Sankamphaeng and Borsang. Here you can watch the production of Thai silk, silverware and lacquerware, woodcarving and the handpainting of the famous Chiang Mai umbrella's. Overnight at the Pornping Tower Hotel.  
 

Day 08:

Chiang Mai  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning we will make an exiting tour to one of the best Elephant Training Center's in Thailand. You can see how the elephants get their daily bath in the river and how they are trained for their heavy jobs in the jungle.You will have the possibility to make an unforgettable ride on the back of one of this pachyderms, followed by a scenic bambooraft through the jungle. Our lunch will be served at a traditional Thai farm. Before we drive back to the hotel we will visit a beautiful orchid garden. Overnight at the Pornping Tower Hotel
 

Day 09:

Chiang Mai  
This day is free at leisure so there will be no wake up call. The American Breakfast buffet is served until 09.30 am. It will be possible to join one of the optional tours arranged by the tourleader, like a Garden & Valley tour around Chiang Mai, a bicycle tour, a Thai cooking course or a boattrip on the Ping River. Overnight at the Pornping Tower Hotel.
 

Day 10:

Chiang Mai - Kamphaeng Phet  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. By local train we make an impressive ride to Lamphun, where we will visit the oldest temple complex of Thailand, the Wat Phra That Haripunchai. From here we make a scenic drive through the Doi Kuntan National Park, and will stop at a lively jungle-market. After our lunch in Lampang we drive to the famous Bhumipol dam. In the afternoon we arrive in the pittoresque historical city of Kamphaeng Phet. Overnight at the Phet Hotel.  
 

Day 11:

Kamphaeng Phet - Nakhom Pathom - Hua Hin  
Wake up call and American breakfast buffet at the hotel. Amidst extensive rice and sugarcane fields we drive to the south. Via Nakhom Sawan and Suphanburi, with some remains of Khmer settlements, we go to Nakhom Pathom. After the lunch in a local restaurant we will visit the tallest Buddha monument in the world, the 127 m. heigh Phra Pathom Chedi. In the afternoon we arrive in Hua Hin. Overnight at the City Beach Hotel.  
 

Day 12 and 13:

Hua Hin  
Two full days we stay at leisure in Hua Hin. The hotel is ideally located nearby the sea and has of course many facilities like a swimming pool. All rooms have tv, refrigerator, minibar, a balcony and a bathroom with bathtub or shower and toilet.  
 

Day 14:

Hua Hin - Bangkok  
Late afternoon departure to the airport of Bangkok for your intercontinental flight. End of the program.
